Our client is successful, acquisitive, and well positioned to be a dominant player in their sporting / leisure niche in Australia.

About the Role
***No two days in the life of this role will be the same Some responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting to set up the HR function in the business;
  • Providing HR support and advice to the business on day to day generalist HR areas;
  • Helping to maintain and administer the new Learning Management System, including system administration and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and qualifications;
  • Preparing compliance reporting data for your ASX listed parent company and other external bodies;
  • Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, probation and induction processes;
  • Project Managing several new HR and People initiatives; and
  • Ensuring the daytoday general HR function is managed efficiently and effectively.

About you
You will ideally bring the following attributes to the role:

  • 2+ years prior experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's Degree within a relevant discipline (not essential but preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, well organised and display initiative to improve practices.
  • IT savvy skills and an enjoyment of using a variety of systems with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Prior experience with a LMS (highly desirable).
  • Proven capacity to work autonomously and to approach activities with initiative.
  • A capability to work, interact and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels and build positive, professional relationships.
  • Structured, well organised, methodical approach to work with the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
