Job description - Casual Storeperson

We are an Outdoor Furniture Retailer with a Blackburn based warehouse dispatching stock locally and interstate.


We are seeking a well presented team player who can work efficiently as part of a team and have a focus on picking orders accurately and efficiently.

The position is casual 2-3 days a week initially but could grow to a 5 day a week role depending on demand of the business.

You will report directly to the Warehouse manager.

The successful applicant will have the following attributes:

  • Eventually manage your own workload without supervision
  • A great friendly personality
  • Forklift licence or willing to obtain one
  • Must be fit as there are some manual and heavy lifting involved
  • Confident and friendly customer service
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills

  • Physically able to lift heavy/bulky objects.
  • A willingness to work casual hours, increasing during the busy preChristmas season, Monday to Friday in a warehouse environment.
Duties & Responsibilities;

  • Picking and packing orders
  • Container Unloading
  • Maintain safe and clean working conditions of warehouse
  • Assembling furniture and packaging furniture
  • Help load customer vehicles
  • General warehouse ad hoc duties required by management
