We are employing Maintenance Workers (Handyperson) to complete general repairs and preventative maintenance tasks for our residential aged care client in Young NSW.

This role would really suit an all rounder/handyperson who can work Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm.

Duties include:

  • Provide a range of general property repairs

For example:

patching and painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, changing door handles or hinges and lock and maintaining site grounds.


  • Able to carry out preventative and corrective maintenance work.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents, visitors, contractors and staff
  • Work within the WHS guidelines to ensure a safe environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Previous maintenance experience. (Trade qualifications are not essential).
  • Knowledge of WHS requirements
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Basic/moderate computer skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills.
  • Previous experience in a aged care, preferred but not essential.
  • Reliable transport and a licence
