The Opportunity
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Property Manager (or experienced Lease Administrator) to join their team. You will be part of a dynamic organization working providing administration assistance to the Portfolio Managers. This role is due to an internal promotion of the current portfolio administrator.

The Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Portfolio Managers with arrears management, leasing matters, insurance and tenancy compliance
  • Developing and implementing initiatives, work practices and management systems
  • Accurately preparing & being accountable for Heads of Agreement and shortterm agreements
  • Collection of data and providing reports
  • Supporting property finance reporting and accounting
  • Coordinating meetings & preparing & distributing minutes & action items in a timely fashion

Ideal Skills/Experience

  • 1+ year experience in a retail, commercial or corporate real estate agency or graduate program
  • Basic working knowledge of either a Retail or Commercial Lease Agreement
  • Motivated and driven
  • Property Economics, Business or Commerce Degree or part way through
  • Experience in a highvolume administrative role with conflicting priorities
