We are seeking a Native Cloud Developer with a background in using Python as the primary language for business logic implementation on the AWS platform. Your role will involve the development and architecture of cloud-native applications using various AWS services for our client in the insurance industry.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using AWS services and Python on the AWS cloud platform
  • Utilize the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for infrastructure provisioning and management
  • Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda and implement event-based architectures using SQS, SNS, and the Fan-Out pattern
  • Work with Amazon DynamoDB for data storage and retrieval
  • Implement APIs and integrate with various systems using API Gateway, ensuring secure authentication with OAuth and Auth0 frameworks

What You Have

  • Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, event-based architectures (SQS, SNS, Fan-Out pattern), API Gateway, and service customization
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), IAM, VPC, and AWS Glue
  • Experience with SQL and noSQL databases, specifically MS SQL and DynamoDB
  • Proficiency in Python with strong knowledge of object-oriented programming features and data structure
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices through GitHub and Bamboo
  • Knowledge of security frameworks, particularly OAuth and Auth0
