Be a part of Zip's Technology team, dedicated to constructing and maintaining seamless, secure, and sustainable platforms that empower customers to shop confidently and help merchant partners expand their brands.

As a Senior Software Engineer within the Checkout squad, take charge of integrating and advancing our Checkout product used by over 40,000 ANZ merchants.

If you relish variety, exploring modern tech, and tackling intriguing challenges at a quick pace, this squad is the perfect fit for you.

Cool tasks you'll be handling:

  • Develop, support, and offer technical guidance to the engineering squad to simplify complexity.
  • Foster a high-performance engineering culture.
  • Guide engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Product managers in a triad to uncover and validate technical issues.
  • Lead the team in achieving quality-focused objectives.

Your contributions to the team:

  • Essential experience with C# and the latest .NetCore technologies and frameworks.
  • Work background on the front end with React, Angular, and other technologies.
  • Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience in constructing microservices and event-driven architectures, utilizing tools like Kafka.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
