Catering Assistant

The Role:

Cater Care Australia seeks to appoint a friendly Catering Assistant our hospital in Prairiewood.

As a Catering Assistant, you will provide excellent service and prepare food for up to 70 valued patients - all delivered via tray service.

This role is ideal for anyone who enjoys making a difference in the lives of others and is looking for work/life balance to work around other life commitments

Public transport is accessible.

Roster:
Mon, Tues, Weds, Fri, Sat (2:00pm - 7:00pm)

What This Role Involves:

• Assisting with food preparation
• Customer service serving our patients meals and snacks
• Restocking as required, and after meal periods
• Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
• Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods with a good attitude
• Assisting the broader team as required
• Previous experience assisting in kitchen operations, food preparation and/or customer service
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Previous experience in health care (preferred but not essential)
