Purpose of the Role


This role will handle Cyber-Security incident, problem, and service request calls under the direction of the Group Manager - Cyber-Security.

Emphasis will be placed on quick resolution of cyber security incidents and achieving the target Centre for Internet Security score.

Additional responsibilities include undertaking tasks and projects as determined by the Group Manager - Cyber-Security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide cyber security support, including identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery from cyber security events.
  • Contribute to the execution of the company's strategy.
  • Creating and maintaining support documentation and runbook processes.
  • Assisting with implementations of projects from a Security perspective.
  • Provide firstlevel compliance monitoring and investigations.
  • Assist with forensics analysis and fact gathering.
  • Perform compliance audits against company's approved security controls.
  • Implement SOCI initiatives as defined by the CIO, CTO, and GM Security
  • SIEM
  • Anti-Malware and End Point protection systems
  • As directed, assist with preventative and remedial Information Security activities including but not limited to
  • Vulnerability Patching
  • Information Security Service Desk Incidents and Requests
  • Log, review, escalate & closure of Cyber-Security incidents and service requests in the ITSM toolset.
  • Follow appropriate escalation procedures in an event the ticket cannot be resolved immediately.
  • Keep endusers informed throughout the life cycle of the Cyber-Security incident/problem.
  • Follow the Major incident management process
  • Creation of knowledge management database articles for known fixes

Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of Cyber-Security frameworks
  • Solid troubleshooting skills, with a logical mindset to be able to break down problems

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Cyber Security or an ICTrelated discipline (or working to achieve this)
  • Industryrelated qualifications e.g. CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO, PCI, and similar certifications (preferred)
  • Solid understanding of Cyber security principles and risks

This role amounts to $55,582 including super for a Graduate working full-time.

Salary:
$55,582.00 per year
