As the Practice Assistant (Legal Assistant, Legal Team Assistant), you will report to the RBA's General Counsel, supporting a small team of Legal Counsel and working flexibly, part time 2 or 3 days per week (total of 14.4 hours per week).

You will thrive in a professional environment demonstrating your high level of interpersonal skills, attention to detail and your outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Your technical strengths in advanced Microsoft Office packages (Word, PowerPoint), TRIM or other Document Management Systems and your expertise in document production and formatting skills will contribute to your day to day success and add value to the work of the team and its clients.


Your background

  • Proven experience in a similar role as Legal Assistant or Practice Assistant, providing document production, administrative and other support in a legal practice or other professional services environment.
  • Advanced document production, document formatting and word processing skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office tools; Outlook, Word, PowerPoint (Excel is desirable, not essential)
  • Welldeveloped verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Effective coordination, organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines across a wide variety of tasks
  • High level of confidentiality dealing with sensitive information.
