As an Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Senior Educators and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children.

You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.


About Goodstart Port Kennedy:

Goodstart Early Learning Port Kennedy is located across the road from Rockingham Lakes Primary School.

Our service caters for children from four months to five years of age.

We are committed to providing our children with a loving, nurturing and rich learning environment to promote their growth and development.

We are proud to say we have a very multicultural family and educator base, and we welcome all cultures through the doors of our centre.


Our centre has a reputation for long-standing educators, and some of our team members have been with us for over a decade.

We are dedicated to providing high quality programming based on the Early Years Learning Framework.


Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of 'Exceeding'.

This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.

Several of our educators are bi
- or multi-lingual, and share their native languages with the children as well as extending the hand of familiarity to children from similar backgrounds, promoting a sense of self and belonging.

Outside, we have an abundance of space and equipment for the children to explore.

Our veggie patches, bike areas, sandpits, natural and manmade play surfaces, and age-appropriate equipment will stoke the children's imaginations while challenging them and encouraging them to grow.

We use Storypark to share your child's learning.

This industry leading program lets you see the learning experiences of your child and allows you to interact with educators to enable real connections between what your child learns at Goodstart Port Kennedy and what happens at home.

We can tailor each program to the child's individual needs, interests and strengths - as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.

You'll need:

Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)

Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Current Western Australian Working with Children Check
