Job Description

We are looking for skilled and safety-focused OCE Supervisors to become part of our team at Dawson Mine site.

Your responsibility will involve monitoring, inspecting, and reporting on mining operations to ensure safety, compliance with regulations, and adherence to Dawson SHE Management system requirements.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid understanding of mining legislation, safety protocols, and open-cut mining techniques, with at least 2 years of recent experience as an OCE Supervisor in an open-cut mine. You must also possess the following qualifications:

  • OCE ticket
  • S1, S2, S3 & G2 qualifications
  • Opencut Examiners Certificate of Proficiency in mine gases and gas testing
  • Conduct Atmosphere monitoring

As an OCE Supervisor, you will oversee core statutory duties, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive safety initiatives while focusing on continuous improvement. Your role will involve providing guidance, education, and consultation to ensure compliance with the Dawson management system.

  • Work on a 7/7 Day/Night roster
  • Location: Dawson Mine in Moura, QLD
