A rare opportunity exists within our HR team to support our company goals in an exciting time of growth. This role is a six-month contract with a view to become permanent.

This role involves:

  • Assist with "endtoend" recruitment process including new employee offers and inductions
  • Assist with OHS activities including maintaining company online SHERM system, Coordinating First Aid, Fire Warden and related OHS training and maintain records
  • Assist and provide support to managers & staff in relation to performance management, counselling, discipline and the grievance and dispute resolution process
  • Advise staff and managers on current processes and policies
  • Assist in providing effective and timely HR advice and support to staff and managers in relation to HR issues/activities.
  • Prepare HR reports, letters and minutes, record keeping and database management
  • Keep abreast of current and emerging human resource and employee relations issues.
  • Assist in identifying and coordinating staff training requirements
  • Liaise with external training providers to facilitate training services
  • Manage the administration and recording of all training and professional development and records
  • Maintain Taipan online training platform

To be successful you'll need some or all of the following:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
  • Welldeveloped organisational & time management skills
  • Typing and administrative skills
  • Information and communication technology (ICT) literate
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good telephone technique
  • Strong attention to detail
