About the Opportunity

As part of the Adelaide Economic Development Agency (AEDA), the Lead, Digital Marketing will lead the strategic direction, implementation and reporting of digital marketing initiatives and activities across AEDA.

Some of the day-to-day things you'll see yourself doing include:
Contributing to the development of the marketing strategy ensuring approach to digital is incorporated.
Collaborating with a specialist project partner in the development of on-site and mobile digital solutions for the new Experience Adelaide Visitor Centre
Collaborating agencies who support the internal team across development, Social Media, and Search

Leading, developing and managing external customer-facing "Experience Adelaide" and corporate AEDA digital assets with the aim of achieving growth, improved segmentation, measurement and automation – websites, social media, and email marketing.

Keeping abreast of other initiatives across AEDA and Co A, and looking for opportunities to collaborate across other areas, to ensure the effective delivery of AEDA strategies and initiatives.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Broad understanding of business needs across multiple industry sectors.

Strong data driven thinking, analytical skills, comprehensive experience with digital technologies and up to date with latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.

Ability to communicate with and assist people in order to manage work and resources across a range of projects, and in a manner that supports professional development

Ability to plan and organise competing work demands, to operate efficiently under pressure and to produce timely, high quality responses.

Demonstrated ability to understand and manage budgets and reporting principles in accordance with corporate objectives and strategic direction.
Knowledge and experience in destination marketing.

Ability to build positive relationships and consult, negotiate and communicate with all levels of management, staff, government agencies, stakeholders and the community, both verbally and in writing.
