Join our Finance team within our Head Office in Australia as Accounting Specialist and help us take Sulzer to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Overseeing the month-end process inline with the month-end calendar
• Maintain the integrity of the general ledger
• Reconciliation and review of general ledger accounts
• Process monthly accruals in a timely and accurate manner
• Review of income statement and balance sheet for accuracy
• Assist with Group Intercompany reconciliations processes
• Assist with preparation of group, statutory and tax reporting
• Assist in the annual external audit and internal audits
• Weekly & Monthly reporting as defined by the monthly calendar
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems and processes to enhance service delivery
• Provide backup for various other Accounting tasks as and when required such as BAS / IAS / FBT preparation, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll duties as well as maintenance of the Fixed Asset register

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• CPA/CA or international equivalent qualification
• Good understanding of integrated ERP is a plus (MS DAX / SAP)
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics AX or D365 highly regarded
• Excellent Excel skills analytical / excel modelling
• Good financial analysis and advanced accounting knowledge
• High level of organizational skills (ability to meet deadlines under time constraints)
• Previous experience working in a role accountable for the delivery of financial support to a business
