Snowy Hydro is a major player in the energy industry, delivering reliable on-demand energy to Australians for years. We own and operate various generation assets and provide electricity and gas to around 1 million customers through Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Additionally, Snowy 2.0, Australia's largest renewable energy project, is on the horizon.



The Position:
  • We are looking for a Senior Group Auditor to join our expanding Assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and reporting internal audit work across different sectors of the Snowy Hydro Group, collaborating with the Assurance team to enhance internal control and risk management.
  • Key responsibilities include undertaking internal audit activities, analyzing control environments, and implementing improvement initiatives for the Assurance Framework. This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne and reports to the Group Head of Assurance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree & CA/ CPA, CIA, or equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years of audit experience
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Experience engaging with employees at all levels within an organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Understanding of the energy sector and regulatory requirements (desirable)
