The role
An exciting opportunity is now available in DevelopmentWA's Leasing and Property Management team.

As the Property Officer reporting to the Leasing Manager you will assist with DevelopmentWA's lease negotiations and property management activities by:

  • Negotiating short-term leases, licences and other property agreements.
  • Assisting with market rent reviews.
  • Generating work orders and paying invoices.
  • Obtaining instruction from and providing advice to internal Development Managers.
  • Consulting with and managing external lessee's, consultants, contractors, local authorities and other parties.
  • Providing general support to the Leasing Manager and Leasing Negotiators.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • At least two years' experience with industrial, commercial or residential leasing.
  • Knowledge of property law, real estate legislation and industry procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an enthusiastic team member.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills and some knowledge of records management.
  • Good computer skills including the ability to use Word, Outlook and Excel.
  • A current driver's licence is required
  • Experience in an organisation with similar values and ethics to DevelopmentWA is highly desirable. DevelopmentWA's culture is based on a set of values that include a personal commitment to Brilliance, Alliance, Courage, Integrity.
