Our Opportunity


This role will have you initially working alongside the Regional Management Team in our Queensland Head Office before heading to an exciting Project based on the Gold Coast with a proven, award winning team.

You'll assist with the implementation and maintenance of various Health and Safety processes and initiatives, while supporting us in maintaining our Living Safely culture.

By supporting and working closely with our Safety Managers you will learn key safety activities at an operational level.

Your Contribution:

  • Learn and implement the requirements of the Fulton Hogan Safety Management System;
  • Assist the safety team in the preparation of safety documentation that identifies and controls site risks;
  • Assist our operational teams with site safety support and undertake safety tasks to achieve health and safety targets, manage critical risks and improve safety awareness;
  • Assist the team to ensure our projects consistently operate in accordance with the legislative requirements, organisational goals, the Health and Safety Management Plan and respective Site Safety Plans;
  • Participate in compliance and monitoring related activities, including: audits, inspections, observations, site walks, subcontractor and plant inductions;
  • Review and assess the outcomes of safety reporting;
  • Proactively engage in the amendment of site documentation in response to organisational changes, identified improvements, periodic review and legislative changes.
