Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent certification

Role Summary:

  • Personal Care Provider responsibilities include assisting residents with daily activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Health Monitoring involves observing residents' well-being and promptly notifying registered nurses or healthcare experts of any changes
  • Supporting Mobility by aiding residents with movement, transfers, and walking to uphold their autonomy and safety
  • Meal Assistance comprises helping residents with food preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration
  • Providing Social Support by offering emotional care, companionship, and involving residents in recreational pursuits to enhance their welfare and quality of life

To be successful:

  • Mandatory possession of a relevant certificate
  • Citizen or Permanent resident status required
  • Full-time commitment to an ongoing contract
  • NDISWC qualification necessary
  • Vaccination mandatory or willingness to get vaccinated
  • Substantial experience a must
