Life Care provides fundamentals of quality care underpinning excellence in innovation demonstrated in site design principals such as the multi-award winning Gaynes Park Manor, use of technology with the first truly mobile call bell system including Reynella, and introducing new models of care including being the first South Australian partner of the Violet Initiative that supports families of those entering palliative care phase of their life.


As part of a collaborative Leadership team joining Life Care will present an exciting opportunity for you to influence and deliver excellent outcomes within the Glenrose Court site but also bringing your perspective and skills to the greater organisation.


About the Role


Reporting into the Chief Operating Officer, the Residential Services Manager will be primarily responsible for driving a high-quality and consumer-centric approach to the delivery of care at Glenrose Court.


The role requires an astute leader who can drive high-quality outcomes in a balanced score card of safety, quality, people, delivery and cost management.

Focused on customer service, consumer engagement, fundamentals of care, business and service governance and workforce management you will require a strong capacity to be across a breadth of operational and strategic objectives.

As a people leader you will empower through a commitment to ongoing coaching, development and continuous improvement with a proven ability to influence large teams.


About You


The Residential Service Manager at Glenrose Court requires a clinical skill set to support clinical governance, however does not require a nursing background.

To be considered for the position, you will;

  • Have evidenced experience in a senior leadership role within a comparable healthcare setting;
  • Have a background in a healthrelated discipline with understanding of delivery of care principles
  • Have demonstrated understanding of accreditation and implementation of strong clinical and risk governance
  • Have demonstrated ability to seek and act on consumer and family needs
  • Have a strong understanding of rostering, workforce management and budget management
  • Be positively influential and have capacity to tailor your influence to effectively coach, develop and lead the Glenrose Court team;
  • Capacity to work constructively and collaboratively with key leaders at the site and across the organisation to achieve operational outcomes;
  • Capacity to work in a highautonomy environment; with strong problem solving and decision making abilities; and
  • Proven ability to role model the professional behaviours that create a high performing, engaged culture.
Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander or those from culturally diverse backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.

In addition, you must also have evidence of:

  • Holds a Nursing qualification and/or alternative health-related discipline;
  • Current National Crime Check (or capacity to obtain);
  • Current 2023 Flu Vaccination; and
  • Covid19 Vaccinations.
