The Company
Our client are a recognised name within the FMCG space, experiencing year on year growth and with a strong brand presence they are now looking to expand and as a result are seeking an experienced Demand Planner in Melbourne's Eastern Suburbs.
The Role
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager your responsibilities will include;
- Maintain and develop forecasts in line with the wider team and deliver consistent fill rate levels to all customers
- Monitor forecasts for products and promotions and identify trends to assist in improving the S&OP process
- Utilise statistical data to justify forecast demand
- Increase collaboration across sales, production and marketing departments to improve visibility and create solutions across demand and supply
- Respond to and anticipate changes in a timely and effective manner putting in solutions to overcome and mitigate issues.
Your Background
In order to be successful in this role you will ideally be;
- At least 35 years experience in a demand planning
- Tertiary educated in a relevant area such as Business or Supply Chain & Logistics
- Have experience working in a highSKU environment supplying into major retailers
- End to end Supply Chain experience within a food environment is highly desirable
- Exposure to Microsoft Excel with the ability to interpret data and understand trends
- A strong personality who is not afraid to show initiative and drive improvements across business units
