About the position

Reporting to the Store Manager, you'll be fully responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bakery department. You'll take pride in contributing to a store that is exceptionally presented, welcoming, and engaging for our customers, team members, and local community.

About you and your abilities

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced setting
  • Leadership experience, both direct and indirect, as you will lead, mentor, and develop your team to achieve sales goals, control costs, and manage schedules
  • Maintain high department standards, including overseeing stock, rotation procedures, wastage, shrinkage, and quality assurance
  • Promote a cohesive team environment that values success and prioritizes the health, safety, and well-being of our team members
  • Delight customers with exceptional shopping experiences
  • Ability to plan ahead, motivate your team, and deliver results with pride
