About the Program

The LLE Authority aims to be a sustainable and influential voice operating at the governance level of the organization. It impacts strategic direction, organization policy and culture, budget, advocacy, research priorities, and performance.

The LLE Authority will connect to LLE voice and expertise across Wellways' programs and services and all states and territories where Wellways operates.

About the Opportunity

The Senior LLE Authority Support Officer will play a crucial role in enabling and supporting the LLE Authority during its formative stages. They will shape and deliver on its roles, responsibilities, and self-governance processes, utilizing their lived experience and engaging in collaborative relationships.

Key Requirements:

  • Lived experience in mental health and/or disability sectors
  • Capacity to put Lived Experience at the forefront of decision making
  • Ability to work from a Lived Experience perspective
  • Experience in developing accessible reports and documents
  • Understanding of diversity and inclusion principles

Other Essential Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Right to work in Australia
  • Current valid Driver's Licence and willingness to travel
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Relevant background checks
