Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Insolvency Supervisor to join our client on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of insolvency administrators, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a team of insolvency administrators, providing guidance, support, and training as needed

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the insolvency department, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within established timelines

Review and approve insolvency case files, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, creditors, and other stakeholders

Prepare and present reports on the progress of insolvency cases to senior management

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Stay up-to-date with changes in insolvency laws and regulations, and ensure compliance within the team

Assist with the recruitment and training of new team members as needed

Collaborate with other departments within the company to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to client service

Act as a point of contact for any escalated client or stakeholder inquiries or issues

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in insolvency, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role

Strong knowledge of insolvency laws and regulations

Excellent leadership and team management skills

Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and insolvency software programs

Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CIRP) is an asset
