About The Role:

We are currently seeking experienced

Trade Assistants to work for our client based in the inner suburbs of Brisbane. 6am starts.

  • Assist electricians in the installation of electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
  • Prepare work areas by setting up tools, equipment, and materials needed for the job.
  • Aid in the pulling of electrical cables and wires through conduits and raceways.
  • Assist in the mounting and installation of electrical panels, junction boxes, and other components.
  • Participate in the assembly and disassembly of electrical equipment during maintenance and repair work.
  • Help with the testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to identify faults and issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and the team.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 12 years experience in a similar position
  • Basic understanding of electrical principles and terminology.
  • Physical fitness and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, carrying, and working at heights.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions closely.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and challenges.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in electrical work.
  • Awareness of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
