In this role, you'll:


Support your team to deliver land access for the Inland Rail Project by managing acquisitions by agreement and through the compulsory acquisition process.


You'll achieve this by working collaboratively with Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC), advising on compulsory acquisition process, reviewing and endorsing valuations and expert advice, managing budget forecasts, undertaking acquisition due diligence, and writing briefing notes to gain delegate approvals.


Fixed term project contract until 30 June 2028

About you


You're recognised for your ability to build strong relationships with your stakeholders due to your outstanding written and verbal communication skills.


You are a tertiary qualified property professional looking for an opportunity to join a centre of excellence supporting the acquisition of land to help transform New South Wales' infrastructure.


You have extensive property experience within acquisitions, valuation, or property law, and excellent communication skills with the ability to manage multiple internal and external stakeholders.

Ideally, experience in property databases and document management systems such as PIMS, Salesforce and Objective would be advantageous.

You also have a strong grasp of NSW compulsory acquisition legislation and understanding of relevant case law. Certified valuers highly regarded, however not a requirement.
