Production Machine Operator & Setter_


Multi Slide Industries are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Production Machine Operator & Setter to assist with setting-up and running production equipment.


Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Set up and change over special tooling in manufacturing machines.
  • Operate production equipment in at safe and efficient manner to produce quality products.
  • Comply with all safety standards, quality requirements and operating procedures.
  • Record production and quality performance as required.
  • Communicate effectively with others.
  • The types of machines involved may include CNC bending machines, mechanical press type machines, as well as spotwelding equipment.

Skills & personal attributes required:

  • Physically fit, healthy, and capable of doing repetitive work.
  • Good communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Good mechanical aptitude and good problemsolving skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Motivated and willing to learn. Training on how to set up and/or program the machines will be provided, but we need you to be motivated and willing to learn.
  • A manufacturing background with hands on experience in setting up production equipment and / or die setting experience would be highly regarded,


The role will initially be a casual role, with the potential to move to permanent in the future, if the person proves to be a good fit for the role.
