In this position based at our head office in Mulgrave, Victoria, you will join a high performing Network Development team and be responsible for managing the Business Management Information reporting function for AU and NZ Mercedes-Benz Retailers, as well as providing meaningful retailers financial analysis and benchmarking to Senior Managers in support of decision-making.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the monthly collection of Retailers Financial information, including profit and loss and balance sheet management reports, within the approved Business Management Information System (BMI).
  • Analysing, interpreting and benchmarking the Retailers financial performance, explaining the drivers of profitability across Dealership departments, for the AU and NZ Retailer Networks.
  • Providing timely and meaningful Retailers Financial reports and working collaboratively with departmental Senior Managers across MBAuP and MBNZ in Retailers financial related matters.
  • Supporting the National Retailer Network Strategy with financial modelling.
  • Liaising and supporting HQ colleagues on all Retailers financial related topics.
  • Managing the BMI vendor relationship, including support services, contract, system upgrades, and project works affecting retailer reporting.
  • Managing Due Diligence tasks for all existing and prospective Sales Business Partners, including appointments, buy/sell and changes to shareholding and directorship structures.
  • Coordinating with the Legal department the issue of new Agreements and Deed of Variations as required.

Qualifikationen:

What you will need to be successful:

  • Business / Accounting related degree or diploma. CA/CPA qualification or working towards.
  • Automotive experience in other OEM or Retail ideal.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well developed organisational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Ability to negotiate and work with a broad range of people and job roles.
  • Highly developed in Microsoft suite and advanced excel mandatory.
  • Ability to multitask essential and work across departments and functions.
