We are a successful domestic building company based in Melbourne's Bayside seeking a fit and motivated labourer with maintenance and handyman skills to join our team.

We specialise in major home renovations and extensions and also construct new homes throughout Melbourne's Bayside and inner city suburbs.


As a highly motivated individual you will require an understanding of the building and construction industry combined with a high level of attention to detail.

Carpentry skills considered a bonus

Skills and experience:

  • A minimum of two years construction experience
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Must be hard working, reliable and available to work overtime when required
  • Available for an immediate start
  • Have the right to work in Australia
  • General carpentry skills
  • General plumbing repairs
  • Plastering and gyprock repairs
  • Touch up painting

Key responsibilities:

  • General construction site labouring yard duties, such as cleaning up rubble and debris
  • Ensuring the site is kept safe, clean and tidy
  • Demolition as necessary
  • General cleaning duties
  • General carpentry assistance
  • General maintenance repairs as required
  • Acquiring materials
  • Working as part of a team

To be successful for this role you will have:

  • Construction Induction White Card
  • Strong work ethic
  • Own tools
  • Reliable transport
Initially this position will be offered on a casual basis with the view to becoming permanent full time.

The successful applicant will hold a White Card, a current drivers license and have a reliable vehicle. You will be physically fit, punctual and also have a strong work ethic.
