An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Mechanical Tradesperson to join their dynamic team
You will safely undertake a range of duties to maintain and repair plant items, vehicles and mechanical equipment.

The Role:

  • Safely undertake a range of duties to maintain and repair plant items, vehicles and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform a wide range of routine and complex labouring/ manual tasks, including the use of a variety of small plant and powered and nonpowered hand tools, to assist with the completion of work activities. Work is completed under limited supervision and may be done in a team environment or independently.
  • Conduct safety checks on all plant used, complete basic maintenance such as refuelling and checking fluid and maintain records and reports to ensure the safe use of plant items.
  • Solve routine problems that arise, referring to standard guidelines and manuals and collaborate with supervisors and managers to resolve complex problems to ensure risks are minimised and work goals are achieved.

Essential requirements:

  • Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
  • Current Construction Industry White Card
  • Current unrestricted NSW motor vehicle driver's license
  • Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work independently
  • At least 12 months experience in a Mechanical Tradesperson Grade 1 or industry equivalent
