Every day is different, but you'll mostly be

:

  • Assist in monitoring the daily operation of the housekeeping department, including overseeing duties assigned to staff and monitoring the cleanliness of all areas daily.
  • Ensuring the highest presentation of our guest rooms and public spaces is upkept and striving to maintain our consistent +80% cleanliness score.
  • Assisting with new colleague onboarding and training to ensure they have a great start.
  • Reporting/logging any issues or damage to property or maintenance requests.
  • Assisting in the allocation of rooms for the rostered team members on shift.
  • Maintaining an accurate inventory of all stock, guest supplies and linens while minimising wastage.
  • Addressing special requests for guests, VIPs, repeat visitors and VIPs.
  • Checking rooms prior to being made available for guests.
  • Assisting the team with deep cleaning projects and in guest rooms/laundry during busy periods.

What we need from you**:

  • At least 1 year experience in Housekeeping in a busy hotel. Previous experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • The ability to inspire passion, enthusiasm and positivity in the team.
  • Commitment to deliver an exceptional level of Guest Service and cleanliness.
