Recruitment Consultant. Ongoing Day Shift Monday to Friday 8.5 hr days with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break. If you work 9hr days, you are entitled to their Flex Friday (every 4th Friday off PAID).

About the Role:

  • Brisbane
based in their Milton office

  • ASAP Start
  • 12month casual contract with the opportunity of going perm after the 12 months
  • Working closely alongside 2 people however in a team of 9 (8 based in Brisbane, 1 based in Gladstone on Curtis Island)

Duties:

Resourcing & Onboarding

  • Support resourcing requirements through coordination of endtoend FTE and contingent recruitment processes.
  • Assist and advise hiring managers on Client's resourcing best practices, including diversity and inclusion efforts, throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain recruitment system and process due diligence.
  • Coordination and review of due diligence steps, including psychometric testing, preemployment medicals and reference checking.
  • Coordination of new hire processes, including onboarding, new starter checklists, delivery of corporate induction and liaising with relevant internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding process for the new hire.
Contingent Workforce Management

  • Support resourcing requirements through coordination of endtoend contractor recruitment processes.
  • Partner with external resourcing agencies as required.
Early Careers

  • Provide support related to the Early Careers program.
  • Partner with universities to coordinate attendance at career fairs and student society events.
  • Recruit for and actively promote SPIRIT scholarship, vacation programs and graduate opportunities.

To be successful for this role you will need the following:

  • Secondary education to Year 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum 56 years' experience in an endtoend recruitment role
  • Experience in working with external recruitment agencies for contingent workforce assignments
  • Strong proficiency in the management of a Human Resources Information System, preferably Workday.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Workday, SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft
Office Suite and desire to learn new technologies as required

  • Demonstrated ability to complete work with a high degree of accuracy and a sense of urgency
