About the company
This renowned organisation, located in the outer Western Suburbs of Melbourne, provides services to customers in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Due to growth and restructure, a position of Laboratory Technician within their Quality team has become available. This role will report directly to the Laboratory Manager and is due to start early January 2024.

This role is an on-going part-time contract role.
Responsibilities include:

• Testing of samples (pH, BOD, COD, Suspended Solids, Alkalinity and Turbidity)
• Calibrating Laboratory instruments
• General housekeeping

Requirements include:

• Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) or Certificate of Diploma in Laboratory Techniques
• Experience working in an Environmental Laboratory would be highly regarded
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Fast-paced environment
• Car license is required for this role
