ING, Australia's most recommended bank is on the hunt for an experienced
Product Manager with a specialisation in the
Superannuation sector.

You'll have oversight for the development, management and lifecycle of superannuation products, services, channel delivery and processes.

We're looking for someone who is familiar with the relationship between these areas, with a view to achieving an optimal customer experience whilst meeting ING targets.

You'll have responsibility for ensuring that the financial, legislative and product change activities, relationship management, investment management and business reporting elements of the superannuation portfolio are delivered efficiently and to a high quality.


With portfolio experience in superannuation and investments, you'll have proven experience working with business partners to deliver customer centred offers and services.

You'll ensure the smooth and seamless operations of the superannuation portfolio whilst working with multiple internal and external stakeholders.


You'll have your finger on the pulse with up to date knowledge of industry developments and detailed knowledge of competitor product offerings.


To be successful in this role you'll have expertise in customer centricity and product management experience relating to the successful management of ING's superannuation portfolio, including the on market proposition Living Super.


What are you going to do? You will be

  • Preparing requirements for and overseeing delivery of legislative and product change within ING's superannuation and broader wealth offers
  • Managing implementation activities including review and update of collateral such as product disclosure, websites, FAQs, etc.
  • Acting as an SME for superannuation and wealth related activities across the business, including management reporting, product queries, process review and event management
  • Owning day to day relationship management with internal and external stakeholders, including regular operational meetings, change implementation meetings and escalations. Also monitoring and optimising processes and procedures and managing service levels with stakeholders
  • Managing the investment strategy framework and investment committee charter; including committee secretarial duties, coordination and preparation of papers and other documentation, investment performance monitoring, monthly reporting and asset allocation review, investment instruction issuance
  • Optimising pricing levers across inmarket offers, including preparation of pricing committee papers and associated periodic reviews as well as the execution of pricing and interest rate change
  • Managing P&L and associated activities including business forecasting, budget reporting, expense management, finance accruals, purchase orders and invoicing and executing sales and marketing activities including campaign execution

What are we looking for? Someone who has

  • Advanced and demonstrable knowledge of the Australian superannuation and investment industry
  • Demonstrated experience in managing wealth products with experience in managing product profitability whilst delivering on customer needs at least 3 years
  • Proven experience in managing vendors and governance with exceptional stakeholder management experience and skills
  • Proven experience in preparing financials for the purpose of product enhancement and profitability monitoring with exceptional analytical and problem solving skills
  • Delivery expertise disclosure, change implementation etc.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written;
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills at all levels with outstanding presentation skills
