Skills and attributes:

  • Positive attitude and team player
  • Experience in working at reception and assisting
  • Be able to multitask including helping out with dental assisting and managing the sterilisation are when required
  • Proficient computer skills including Outlook and Word; training in Praktika practice management software can be provided

The role includes:

  • Greeting patients and creating a welcoming environment;
  • General reception duties including answering phone calls, making patient bookings, taking payments, organising correspondence and maintaining a tidy reception and clinic environment;
  • Treating patients with empathy and helping to maintain strong relationships with our loyal clientbase;
  • Working on practice administration requirements including procedures, accreditation, growth initiatives and process improvement; and
  • Performing dental assisting duties when required, maintaining the highest infection control standards per the ADAVB.
