About the Role:


An opportunity has arisen for a
Paralegal to join the Inchcape Legal and Compliance team in Norwest supporting each lawyer with legal, clerical and administrative tasks and providing high-quality services to all department lawyers and clients in an efficient and professional manner.

Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary the duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Ad hoc legal research as requested by legal Department lawyers
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing correspondence and legal documents
  • Opening, closing and organising matter files and filing to matter management system (Xakia)
  • Assisting with franchise document preparation including populating relevant documentation into Adobe Sign and issue for signature
  • Business licence management including maintaining a register of business names, motor dealer/repairer licence, music licences and custom warehouse licences
  • Tribunal matter management including:
  • Receive and process all tribunal matter correspondence received from statebased Tribunals
  • Maintain litigation and tribunal register for all active matters
  • Assisting with legal compliance projects, programs and initiatives
  • Maintain legal fees register and process all legal invoices through the internal PO system (Coupa)
  • Diary management of General Counsel and Company Secretary
  • Booking and managing all business travel requirements of General Counsel and Company Secretary in conjunction with the Executive Team PA
  • Acting as primary legal department contact for the procurement department

  • Have prior Paralegal experience preferred
