Our client, an independent statutory Government agency, is seeking a senior actuary to join their team working in the disability sector.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne, Geelong, or Canberra.

About the role

  • Satisfy ad hoc requests for modelling and potential interpretations of legislation as required.
  • Develop and update the actuarial valuation model and associated monitoring and management reports.
  • Evaluate and analyse policy decisions.
  • Provide statistical and actuarial advice to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Perform reporting, analysis and data management activities as required.
  • Provide insights into organisational priorities, highlighting actionable insights based on statistical results.

About you
-
Must be an Australian citizen
:

  • Associate or Fellow of the Actuaries Institute of Australia or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in actuarial roles.
  • Track record of leading and managing teams.
