Your new role

As the Property Transaction Officer reporting to the Property Operations & Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of ongoing reporting and portfolio transaction management for the Property Team. You will have a key focus on end-to-end SAP processing, property leasing, tenant management and stakeholder engagement.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be to:

  • Manage leases and agreements for Ausgrid and Aurora properties, including billing external tenants and rental reviews.
  • Manage internal and external tenant discussions, rental reviews, and escalations as well as manage contracts and supplier activities.
  • Coordinate procurement, document management, property information, contractor obligations, accounting principles for the Property team including raising purchase orders in SAP and receipting of invoices for both Ausgrid and Aurora.
  • Maintain the Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) reporting register and upload details in the portal as required to ensure compliance with our reporting obligations.
  • Maintain accurate records of property transactions, update property information, link documents, enter property maintenance, and statutory costs.
  • Manage tenant debt, follow up on outstanding payments, and complete end-of-month debtor reconciliation, including aged debtor's report.
  • Develop and manage monthly reports: rental reconciliations, accruals, budget, and forecast reports for Ausgrid and Aurora.
  • Undertake the processing and recording of data for the Property Portfolio in the Property Management Information System (PMIS), including but not limited to the updating of property agreements and lease terms, monthly billing of services and external tenants.

We are looking for someone with previous experience in Business, Administration, Finance or Accounting preferably within a property or asset management team. You'll bring demonstrated experience in delivering exceptional customer service in fast-paced, high-volume transaction environments.

You will also have:

  • An understanding of administration processes, regulations, and procedures, including proficiency in SAP financial and procurement systems.
  • Ability to effectively deal with both internal and external customers at all levels from senior management to field staff.
