What You'll Do:


The POP practice area is seeking an Expert Project Leader to grow our Leadership & Talent business in Australia and New Zealand.

Your time will be focused on case execution, expanding the Leadership and Talent offering, addressing key leadership and talent needs for our clients and advising them on how they can attract, grow, inspire and retain top talent.


WHAT YOU'LL DO


At BCG you will be a pivotal member of our POP Practice by partnering with our clients to solve the most pressing leadership and talent issues facing organisations today.

Leveraging your experience, you will develop industry-leading solutions to help our clients succeed.

In this unique role, you will spend your time:

  • Expanding and delivering our Leadership and Talent offering for BCG clients in Australia and New Zealand
  • Working jointly with BCG and client project teams, bringing expertise to the team and to the client onsite on talent, leadership, and capability topics
  • Executing client work in a case team either as an advisor, individual contributor, or case delivery lead
  • Providing mentorship and support to more junior consultants to ensure continuous individual development
  • Educating and informing clients proactively about stateoftheart technologies, methodologies and tools and how it can bring value to their business and, in particular, their people/leadership capabilities
  • Contributing to the improvement of methodology, tools, enablement material and topic development on areas of expertise
  • Developing and contributing to BCG's intellectual capital working on BCG knowledge content projects to develop new techniques and/or capture new ideas as well as casework experience


As an Expert Project Leader, you will be integrated into a BCG team and leverage your deep expertise on projects that reshape businesses.

You will be given end-to-end responsibility for large and complex "modules" within a BCG project and may lead small but high-impact teams to drive results for our clients.

You will work closely with clients to understand their issues, create strategies for change, and win buy-in for your recommendations, while also collaborating with colleagues on complex client issues.

Your expertise will be valued by senior clients and you will help build and contribute to BCG's intellectual capital while spending significant time supporting and executing case work.


What You'll Bring (Experience & Qualifications):

  • Project experience & expertise in organisational development, leadership and/or talent
  • Passion for Leadership and Talent topics and a desire to continue to develop yourself to be a thought leader
  • Ability to develop leading edge business models, frameworks for analysis, and longterm business strategies that maximize shareholder value.
  • Proven ability to manage client engagements, client relationships, and provide "thought leadership" to teams, owning the responsibility for the quality of engagements. A combination of management and "hands on" delivery experience is critical
  • Excellent communication skills; able to explain complex industry concepts in nontechnical terms
  • An entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
  • A character in line with BCG's purpose and value

YOU'LL BE BASED IN
Melbourne or Sydney

YOU'LL BE TRAVELING
Travel is expected and will vary based on project needs.
