About this Opportunity
We are seeking to recruit
a Cool Room Operator for our site in Clarence Gardens.

You will be responsible for undertaking all picking, packing and loading of stock as per customer orders from the warehouse distribution.

We are looking for someone positive, engaging and committed.

• To be considered for this position you will preferably have experience as a Cool Room Operator in the food industry, have a current forklift driver's license. Experience in Dairy is considered a plus.

To be considered for this position, you will require:

• Experience in a similar role;
• LF Forklift License
• Solid Understanding of GMP
• Ability to do shift work (day, afternoon or night shift when needed)
• Being a Manufacturing company availability to work overtime, public holidays and weekends is needed from time to time
• Experience maintaining ISO 9001, HACCP, Global Standard for Food Safety and applicable external customer standards would be advantageous;
• Excellent Time management skills;
• Willingness to learn;
• Good attention to detail;
• Effective communication skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Pick and Pack products
• Loading products
• Safely operate our machinery to move products/orders around the cool room as required
• Maintain hygiene standards in the cool room and factory areas
• Meet the required cool room scheduled
• Undertaking stock rotation and regular stocktakes
• Ability to work in a cold environment of 4 degrees

You must have good written and oral communication skills, be self-motivated, have a strong focus on safety, environment and quality and be able to work as part of an effective team.
