About Johnson Matthey
***Johnson Matthey is a global leader in sustainable technologies. The company's Melbourne facility, located in Tullamarine, specialises in the use of precious metals to manufacture components used in the medical device industry.

About the Role
***An experienced Production Operator is needed to join the team at the Johnson Matthey Tullamarine facility.

This will be a permanent position with a 4 day working week (Monday to Thursday). In this position you will work 38 hours from Monday to Thursday (7am to 5pm each day) - providing you with 3 days off every week

Duties will include:

  • Use a range of machines to make a braided wire product for the medical component industry (training will be provided). This will involve light manual handling and high attention to detail.
  • Quality control testing.
  • Use of measuring devices.
  • Computer data entry tasks.

About You
***To be considered for this position, you must have:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment including basic machine operation.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident maths skills including ability to take accurate measurements.
  • Basic knowledge of MS Word and Excel software.
  • Previous wire manufacturing experience would be considered advantageous
