Job Description

What you'll be doing:

Embrace a role that involves working across various F&B outlets and events, from Blvd Café and Bar to in-room dining and beyond. Your primary aim will be to establish personal connections, spark joy, and create a sense of belonging for our valued guests.

The perfect candidate will exude confidence, reliability, and charisma, consistently delivering exceptional service to our guests. We are seeking individuals who take pleasure in supporting their colleagues, functioning as part of a team, and ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality products.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Perfecting each cup of coffee to brighten someone's day with an exceptional caffeine boost
  • Providing outstanding guest service experiences
  • Crafting a variety of quality beverages, from cocktails to juices
  • Upholding a clean and safe environment in compliance with COVID guidelines
  • Handling transactions and offering guests local insights and discounts
  • Creating memorable dining interactions in BLVD Bar & Café
  • Recognizing and rewarding our loyal guests
  • Ensuring prompt Room Service, amenities, and Pool bar deliveries

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in café, bar, banquets, and a la carte service
  • Familiarity with Micros or a similar POS system, including credit card processing
  • A willingness to learn, along with strong interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for connecting with guests and providing exceptional experiences
  • Good knowledge of wines and cocktails, with a touch of creativity to accommodate requests
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment, assisting colleagues and confidently managing your section
  • Hold a valid QLD RSA certificate
  • Reliable and flexible availability for various shifts, including nights and weekends
  • Must have current work rights in Australia
