We are experiencing a rapid growth in our technology business and are looking for motivated and skilled individuals to contribute to the growth of our SAP practice

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Program Architect to become a critical member of our growing SAP practice across Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Perth.

This role will require you to work on client sites, supporting them throughout the whole project life cycle from Conceptual Design through to Go Live and Support. The role requires end-to-end responsibility for pulling together all the components of an SAP solution and produce enterprise and technical architecture artefacts for the program.

This role is a national position, welcoming applicants from any city in Australia that hosts a KPMG office.

Your Opportunity:

Planning and integrating business processes, information, data and technology platforms to build and ensure the enterprise solution architecture design is complete and aligned with principles, practices, and guidelines. Lead the architectural design and implementation of SAP S/4 HANA and integration with other portfolio solutions. Lead all aspects of the enterprise architecture function including architectural standards, governance processes, and provide the vision to explore and effectively utilise emerging technologies. Lead the S/4HANA adoption discussions with the client clearly demonstrating the business benefits of S/4HANA, Suite on HANA and HANA database and overall process of implementation, migration, Near Zero Downtime (NzDT) method, and upgrade including sizing, architecture, integration, configuration, management, and day-to-day operation of the S/4HANA environment. Support sales at key accounts by leading the scoping, solutioning and program planning around architecture and technology aspects of SAP solutions. Support delivery teams as a subject matter expert (SME) for ongoing S/4HANA programs and lead the initiation and development new ones.

We are on the lookout for an individual with a robust management consulting background, specialising in SAP consulting or ERP industry expertise. Proven experience in the delivery of S/4HANA conversion projects. In-depth knowledge of SAP ecosystems, including an understanding of software applications, data structures, integrations, hosting platforms, and architectural mandates. Proficiency in designing and implementing SAP solutions both in public and private cloud settings, while harmoniously integrating them with existing legacy systems. Notable systems comprehension should extend to S/4HANA, Ariba, Concur, Fieldglass, SuccessFactors, IBP, BTP, SAC, among others. Versatility in engaging with pre-sales processes, including the facilitation of workshops focused on requirements collection and solution determination. The ability to craft strategic architectural roadmaps that illustrate the evolution from existing architectures to future configurations, while demarcating precise service delineations. Fundamental grasp of the intricacies within SAP data transformations. Demonstrable skill in synthesising various aspects to form client-centric solutions, considering customer needs, constraints, and the current technological landscape, and performing thorough due diligence. Aptitude for leveraging in-depth SAP knowledge to achieve cost-effective results and keeping abreast of technology developments within and outside SAP offerings. Experience in basis administration architecture encompassing all phases from technical planning to support, inclusive of S/4 HANA, FIORI, SLT, SOLMAN, Cloud ALM, and other related technologies. Familiarity with a range of SAP security protocols, including GRC and IAS, alongside expertise in managing authentication, authorisation, single-sign-on, encryption, and related security tools. Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield/Brownfield implementations and conversions. Comprehensive understanding of SAP architecture: strategic planning, cloud infrastructure, and modern applications. Adeptness in managing extensive databases, overseeing performance, and ensuring reliable data replication, availability, and disaster recovery. Specialised skills in managing SAP Client and Transport systems. Experience with working in diverse environments, inclusive of on-premise and cloud platforms. Conversant with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, and NIST, the ideal candidate will seamlessly merge technical expertise with a strategic vision to oversee the transformative journey of our SAP landscapes.
