About the role

Due to an internal transfer, we are seeking a Chaplain who will provide quality person-centred Chaplaincy/ Pastoral Care that meets the needs of the community, staff and volunteers and is consistent with BaptistCare's Purpose and Values.

This is a permanent part time role (60.8 hours per fortnight) based in Newcastle (working across Wallsend and Windale) .

The successful applicant will have:

Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy /pastoral care OR tertiary theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake chaplaincy / pastoral care specific training within the first 12 months of employment. Ability to demonstrate a high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart Active involvement in and recommendation from a local Christian Church Chaplaincy or pastoral care experience Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary settings Current 'Working with Children Check' Willingness to undergo a police check
