Scope:

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will have the opportunity to join our growing agency team.

We offer various shifts in Aged Cares, Hospitals and Communities across Melbourne, allowing you to choose where and when you want to work.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality care, support, and recreational activities to residents in our homes.
  • Adhere to individual care plans and meet residents' specific needs.
  • Report any incidents or changes in resident behaviour to the supervising nurses.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and ensure compliance with relevant processes.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents to enhance their wellbeing.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Relevant experience in hospital, aged care, or disability settings.
  • Compassionate and caring nature.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Adaptability to different working environments.
  • Strong decisionmaking and problemsolving abilities.
  • Passion for providing highquality individual care.
  • Commitment to delivering care with compassion, dignity, and respect.
  • Familiarity with and dedication to the Aged Care Standards.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Security Requirements:

  • Right to work in Australia.
  • Willingness to undergo a Police Check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain one before onboarding.
  • Completion of an NDIS check.

Qualifications and Memberships:

  • Minimum Certificate III qualification in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability Support Work, or a related health service certificate.
  • Passion for providing quality, relationshipbased individual care.
  • Strong commitment to delivering care with compassion, dignity, and respect.
  • Familiarity with and commitment to embracing the Aged Care Standards.
  • Positive and flexible attitude.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
