Key Purpose of Role:

The Customer Quality Manager APAC is a crucial position focused on enhancing customer experience by following and improving quality management processes. This role entails identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, as well as supporting the implementation of the Global Integrated Management System in the APAC region. By actively engaging in cross-regional and global projects, the manager plays a vital role in driving collaboration and achieving quality management objectives.

As a vital figure in problem-solving and CAPA management, the Customer Quality Manager APAC is dedicated to maintaining the highest product quality and customer experience standards, emphasizing our commitment to excellence in the APAC region.

Areas of Responsibility:

  • Act as a liaison between Landis+Gyr and customers, facilitating discussions and providing technical insights to support business and sales departments
  • Communicate quality solutions to customers based on root cause analysis findings
  • Drive efficient problem-solving methods and CAPA management
  • Ensure timely and high-quality responses to customer issues
  • Report on CAPAs/8D and related KPIs
  • Support process improvements and performance management in CRM
  • Enhance product reliability through field returns and internal testing analysis
  • Analyze warranty clauses in contracts
  • Implement best practices and lessons learned for continuous product and process improvement
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks
  • Support the Global IMS implementation in the APAC region
  • Participate in cross-regional and global initiatives
  • Adhere to quality standards and Landis+Gyr policies
  • Contribute to energy efficiency and waste reduction initiatives
  • Promote health, safety, and environmental awareness in the workplace
  • Maintain professionalism in interactions with vendors, contractors, and colleagues

Key Metrics:


- Track quality complaints response and resolution


- Monitor product reliability performance


- Implement lessons learned for continuous improvements

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years in a Quality-related role
  • At least 5 years in a customer-facing quality position
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
  • Experience with hardware, software, and solutions for industrial systems
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and technical support
  • Knowledge of quality tools and methods (8D, FMEA, DMAIC, 6-Sigma)
  • Self-driven in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Competent in planning, performance management, and reporting
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix management environment

Qualifications and Additional Requirements:

  • Required minimum education: Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
  • Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Physics, or Material Science
