5304- Date: 24 Jul 2023- Location: Brisbane, QLD, AU, 4000- Company: Queensland RailOur International award-winning Marketing and Design team is seeking an experienced Team Leader with high level of videography and photography skills, a creative flair and a passion for content creation.

This is a hands-on role.

While leading and mentoring two Digital Content Advisors (videographers/photographers), you will be required to roll up your sleeves and be on the tools as much as managing the high demand workload for the team and quickly re-prioritising as required when urgent pieces of work arise.

This is a permanent full-time position with a starting base salary of $127, % super.

About the role


As the Team Leader, your typical (or not so typical day) will involve everything from leading a team to livestream productions across the state, to directing marketing campaign shoots on set, to working with key stakeholders to refine briefs to develop the most effective content, always thinking outside the box.

Not only you will work at a strategic level, planning and project managing large pieces of work, but you will also have an exceptional level of attention to detail, as well as technical knowledge and understanding of videography, photography, and social media trends and metrics.


Other responsibilities may include:

  • Occasional after hours and weekend work, including associated travel for outreach activities (e.g., attendance at conferences, events etc)
  • Willingness to travel throughout SEQ and occasional regional trips.

:Position Description-
Technical skills - systems:demonstrated experience in videography and photography including previous experience using DaVinci Resolve software.

Previous experience using Adobe Creative Cloud would be an advantage but not essential.

Experience: background in the development, implementation and evaluation of communication and engagement strategies within a high-profile political environment

Leadership:experience coaching a fast paced, high performing team

Stakeholder engagement:ability to foster strong relationships and communicate effectively across a large organisation with stakeholders, customers and communities

Communication:superior written and oral communication skills with the ability to prepare high quality communications for various channels, purposes and audiences

Planning and prioritisation: highly organised with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and projects
