Specific Tasks:

• Working under pressure in a time sensitive environment
• Training of New Employees in team
• A focus and attention to detail of job requirements when allocating jobs
• The effective use of all resources to achieve continuous business improvement, while maintaining customer service.
• Assist with collation of data for recording and achieving KPI's (Service Quality)
• Create an open transparent communication channel with all you deal with, while maintaining Integrity.
• Communicate effectively with other allocators & Q.C. staff to ensure efficient job allocation
• Skills to resolve driver and customer enquiries in a proactive manner.
• Contribute and strengthen the Fleet by being a team player.
• Ability to be flexible with working hours as per team requirements

Experience/Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Dangerous Goods
• Allocation of jobs in CPL or the new system DWS
• A sound knowledge of Metro Melbourne Suburbs
• Strong written and oral skills, including well developed persuasive ability
• Ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external customers
• Computer Knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft 36
• Knowledge of FMS procedures, Scanning and compliance requirements
• Basic knowledge of the Transport industry
• Dangerous goods policy
• Damaged goods handling policy
• Track & trace status codes
• High school qualification
