What You'll Be Doing...

As a Fleet Engineer focusing on mechanical systems, your role involves ensuring ongoing airworthiness by effectively managing the configuration of aircraft mechanical systems and cabins for the fleet in operation. This includes implementing maintenance strategies to enhance the technical dispatch reliability of the aircraft.

You'll Excel in This Role If You Have...

  • A relevant Aviation Engineering Qualification (Aeronautical); Diploma, Graduate, or Post Graduate, or previous experience holding an aircraft engineer license within the mechanical field
  • 5 years of pertinent work experience, with a minimum of 2 years in either an airline technical support role or aircraft maintenance in a mechanical discipline, particularly with aircraft models similar to those operated by the airline
  • Thorough understanding of:
    • The regulations and standards relevant to aircraft maintenance and reliability programs
    • The routine maintenance requirements outlined in the continuing airworthiness instructions for the aircraft
    • The specifications and standards used by the type certificate holder to establish regular maintenance requirements for the aircraft
    • The aircraft certification basis
    • The aircraft's structure and systems, including the propulsion system, specific to the aircraft/engine type operated by the airline
