Skyedge Events is open to hiring two reliable and friendly staff members to handle and operate event equipment whilst providing fun experiences to guests in a professional manner.

We service all type of events any day of the week. Most events are Fridays and Saturdays.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure in the events & photography industry, meet people, make friends, and be trained by our professional photographers, all while earning money at the same time Full training provided


There are
two positions available; one to handle and operate the photo booth and one to handle and operate the non-flammable sparks machine and/or dry ice clouds machine.


Position 1 (Event Staff - Photo Booth Equipment)

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Pick up and return equipment using your own vehicle
  • Ensure equipment is safely loaded into the venue and is set up on time
  • Protect equipment from damage from external factors such as liquid spills, guests, venue activity
  • Operate and maintain operating condition of equipment throughout the event
  • Interact, entertain guests, and create a fun environment in a friendly and professional manner
  • Possible patron control; calm patrons down to prevent equipment damage
  • Take quick videos for social media content

To be considered you must:

  • Have a driver's license and own vehicle to transport equipment
  • Be fit and able to lift up to 25kg. The equipment is very heavy.
  • Be punctual and reliable (very important)
  • Have a safe mindset (most important)
  • Preventing injuries, accidents and equipment damage is the
    number 1 priority.
  • Be outgoing & sociable to create a fun environment for guests
  • Be able to work independently and under pressure
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Be fluent in English
Due to legal requirements, you must be an
Australian Citizen.

Position 2 (Event Staff - Sparks & Dry Ice Clouds Equipment)

Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Pick up and return equipment using your own vehicle

  • Protect equipment from damage from external factors such as liquid spills, guests, venue activity
  • Operate equipment during performances
  • Possible patron control; calm patrons down to prevent equipment damage
  • Take quick videos for social media content

To be considered you must:

  • Be punctual and reliable (very important)
