In this role you will perform Emergency and Incident Response, Freeway Inspections, Traffic Control, and ensure the integrity and performance of project equipment.


Duties:

  • Attend to reported incidents as directed for the motorway, tunnels, and shared use paths
  • Assist and liaise with Emergency Services requirements during major incidents.
  • Attend to breakdowns and liaise with the owner for removal or repair
  • Provide traffic management services after incidents
  • Proactively patrol the Eastlink freeway, tunnels and interchanges and report issues.
  • Document and maintain activities via the Computerised Maintenance Management System

About you:

  • Experience/qualifications in Civil, Road, Vehicle Maintenance, Traffic Operations and/or Incident Response
  • Demonstrated capability to work on freeways and road systems, a mechanical aptitude for road machinery and equipment
  • First Aid certificate
  • Working at Heights
  • MR licence required (HR desirable)
  • A high regard for safe working practices
